well many things happened these past month and its mostly not the good news =(

I'm not gonna tell what exactly the problems, but back home it's like "things going down the hill" for my family, and we're pretty much struggling with it. it also affecting my life in here and somehow got me into trouble too. i don't really know what to expect in the future, but i pray to Lord to help us and make things better.

sure I'm afraid, but at the same time i also feel relieve. there is one passage in the bible that encourage me and make me strong still.

summer here but it doesn't feel like summer @_@

life goes on as usual, many things happen to me these past 2 months. some are good, and some are bad, somehow my mood is kinda down these days =(

btw happy 4th of july!

weeks off!

at last I got 2 weeks off until my next quarter begins =3

so far I spend the times in my apartment, usually playing games if I have nothing to do. I just realize that I have a decent igp video card (hd3200), since the old one (x850 xt) doesn't cut enough to play newer games, it has the power but doesnt have the technology to run it. unplug the old one and use hd3200 instead (no more noisy fan XD). lucky for me cod5, mirrors edge, prototype, and some other games are still playable at lower resolution and low graphic setting, it even run crysis on all low setting XD

beside that, I don't really go outside that much if I don't have any reasons, its better to stick inside apartment since the weather outside its pretty warm to hot (AC ftw!), I sweat a lot and got this sticky feeling when its hot and humid, sometimes its hot and dry that makes you want to get inside the pool. Thats why I decide to set the temps for AC to 72, so yeah most of the time the AC is on and pretty "comfortable" inside.

there goes my weekend, back to school mode again @_@

in normal days, usually monday through wednesday. I try not to play any games no matter what so I can really focus on my class, so far so good that everything went well. but sometimes Ii still played though normally I prefer just laying around doing nothing or reading some books. the good thing is I'm the type that bored pretty fast, sure I download a lot of games, but only few that I played long enough, once the game is finished or not really into it I just uninstalled it. right now only sims 3 and some online games are still lingring in my harddrive. easy come, easy go!

gotta love this 2 weekend, it's a long holiday for me =3. from last Wednesday until this week I absolutely enjoying myself to the end, since last Monday is memorial day so my only class is only at Wednesday, and it's quite short too XD, that's why I consider having long weekend.

since I'm pretty bored with mmo, so I went back to pc game again. well I got many "cough" pc games and too bad I already try all of them and there are none that I want to play again. this past to week I got some new games, with the sims 3 is the top of the list. call of duty 4 modern warfare is quite good, I like how they present story that makes you feel inside the game, cant wait for the sequel this year. call of duty 5, too bad my graphic card s too old and cant play it. others worth mentioning is mount & blade, the graphic is pretty good especially the character, the gameplay itself pretty unique, its combination of total war game and hack n slash game, just youtube it and you gonna love it. there are other games but I wont mention all =3

currently the temps in here around 71F, and its already makes me uncomfortable, i wish it cool down a little bit.

btw this week we will have a long weekend, since next Monday is memorial day so there will be no class until next Wednesday =3

lazy ftw!!!!

I'm too lazy to update because lately I'm preoccupied with something else (wasting time for example XD). well school is great, the schedule is kinda neat, since I only have class on monday & wednesday, so I have a lot of free time in weekend =D

since the computer got fixed, like i mentioned before, i have urge playing some games (knowing now that i can run them) and kinda went back to "gaming mode" by trying all the games that i haven't try yet. don't have to many games in the shelves so yeah i got bored really fast (only gta san andreas left), its great playing them in high resolution in high detail, the screen just look amazing in 22" lcd monitor compare to playing in 15.4" notebook, now i'm playing mostly in 1680x1050 compare to old 1280x800, i can also watch 720p anime without any problem too =3

also little bit "busy" with some online games, well since the computer can run them why not? went back too granado espada (here in us it's called sword of the new world), its the same like first time i played in korean closed beta one, but now with more contents and still have great musics!!!. other games that pick my interest is ether saga online, its from the same company who brought perfect world, so far it good games since i havent played for long time. this game just give me similar feeling to previous game that i played and really like which is rose online and recently close one holic online, so yeah it resembles them. i did played them a lot this past 2-3 weeks, but somehow now my interest already declined and might get bored soon =3

other things to mention -> Happy Mothers Day, and all who celebrate birthday this month ^_^

this is my first week in session B, got 1 meeting today and it's 12 to 2 pm class. I only took 1 class for this session and meet twice a week in monday and wednesday at the same time. so the first meeting is great, the teacher already made good impression for me. the class quite big more than 15 people I'd say with diversity of people. bad thing is the book is freakin darn expensive, it cost around $188 + tax for my new math book! (the used one already sold out)

other things to say --> its hot in here XD. btw it's not even hitting 30 degree celcius in here and its already make me uncomfortable. always sweat most of the time, its feel like I've just done some exercise (hela I only sit in front of my computer), a lot of washing hand and face to cools off helps a little, too lazy taking a bath =3. dont feel like turning on the ac until its necessary, doesnt want to make the electric bill higher as it is right now x_x.

Done....Its done......no more finals at last!, today with my engl112 final exam marks the end of session A, wohooo!!!! weekend time =3

well its weekend and finally I can play some games since the computer runs great. I already installed beyond good & evil and fable lost chapters, they both runs great on high detail without "hiccup" (duh its an old game XD). Btw I did plug the ati x850xt video card into it, its an old card dated 3 generations back (its on par with GeForce 6 series), well and its faster not better than the igp hd3200, but with this card I can push the resolution to max with high details with some older games. The bad things is the fan little bit loud at 100%, sounds like vacuum cleaner besides me XD, luckily now I can set the fan at 30% with some tweak, sure there is still noise, but its acceptable for my ear, beside there is use my trusty senheisser headphones.

bad news => holic online is closing, so there is no more holic for me (already lvl 57 in there, hardwork since januari XD), but oh well things happen though since I already predicted something gonna happen sooner or later. Well time to go for new game =3

yay finished 1 of them, and thank Lord it's not as hard I would imagine =3, well i'm hoping to get more than 80% =D

btw I got the processor from newegg today and walla the computer it's now working. I'm just guessing the motherboard and the CPU are busted. Its now up and running good, havent install many programs in it, since i'm doing the windows and driver updates first.

well I'm planning to go to sleep early =3, but look what I found on some random search on google --> a direct download for the Full Metal Alchemist anime (the 2001 one, not the new one) that really works =P, adding to that it's megaupload happy hours right now so I can download without restrictions since it's only 2 hours long!

oh well gonna extend my wake up time 2 more hours XD

I did finish my hw6 & lab6 that at first sight seems hard -> hurray!!!
after hours of my brain in 100% "utilization mode" at last I'm done with it, well the hw one is pretty easy, but the lab quite challenging.

well weekend over already, Easter passed with celebration in our church, did miss some of it since I need to pick-up someone on airport with my friend. its packed with people already even I came a little earlier, but hey what you can expect from 3 organizations gather together, and I'm guessing its around 200 people there. the food is great although I don't eat that much; only some bakwan, slices of donatos pizza and few bowl of pork soup/semur/etc whatever do you called it.

Next week is my last week (ugh finals XD), and my session A is over =D, luckily I only took 1 class for session B which is math class (statistic one). this session went with little "hiccup" and hoping I can get a good grade out of it. I'm happy if I can pass the class, but if I can get an "A+", why not! =3

Been busy with my homework lately and not to mention I'm also "busy" playing online games too (I try to only play games after I'm done with my homework, well usually like that though =3). Well actually it's not that busy, it's just that every week i usually have homework to do on both my class. Sometimes i'm pretty lazy by not doing it right away and wait for the day before its due, sometimes i'm prety motivated and manage to finish it quickly.

The homework itself its not that much but it will take some times to finish it, especially the hard one in my computer class. Basicly every week i have 1 homework and 1 lab assingments, which usually involving writing a program, and plus you have to post in threaded discussion online. Not really concern about my English class, since the homework are the basic grammar stuff (sometimes its kinda hard XD), the only thing to worry is an essay paper that i have to make every 2 week (2 done 2 more to go!), which is not a problem for me, but still can pretty hard if you're doing it the day before due date like i always did (Praise the Lord since I always manage to finish it no matter what =D)

Btw Happy Birthday for whoever celebrating this month, since i only know 2 of them, congrats to Jimmy Phan and Kak Eva!

yay for my programming class CIS170B that teach me C# ( pronounce C sharp) =P

programming language is pretty weird huh o_O?, at 1 point is pretty hard for me to understand even i'm trying my best (+reading the books), and kinda hard to do of even if you know very well. At the same time it can be pretty fun since dunno I'm kinda struggling with the language but that the aspect that i like about it, hard + challenging and makes me want to think, well most of my homework are pretty hard to do i guess since it wont run perfectly at first try, you have to sit and think hard XD, and after few try or maybe hours maybe it worked, if wont worked i just let it be and then gonna wait for my next class then ask the professor =3

so far so good

week 1 is great, now entering week 2 =D
yay and i have many homework to do that i haven't done it in the weekend XD, oh well i'm probably gonna busy today, so no time for slacking around or playing games =3

my car 100.000 miles old!

it hits 100.000 miles yesterday, and it still runs great XD

and i went to school without knowing it's close >_>

because i'm in hurry this morning, i forgot to check the devry website and i just assume school was open. to make things worse, the rain last night makes a thick layer of ice that makes hard to open the car door, it takes me around 30 minutes before i can open the door XD.

the road to school itself is hell, heavy snow showering that makes visibility low, i even got no time to clean all my car, especially the side mirror and rear glass -> basically i can't see nothing except my front and left side. twice almost got hit by truck, luckily the truck horn is loud so i can getaway in time. arrived at school pretty fast, less than an hour just to see the parking lot is empty, only snow there XD. did some car cleaning before i went back home, this time pretty confident i can increase speed since the road kinda empty, i try to go at 40mph, risky though i got slip few times XD, but hey at least i got home safely =D

its saturday now......

and i have nothing to do =P
since i already did most of my homework this week and done with my math class, so yeah basically i am free right now, oh well since this weekend i can play some online games till i drop XD

been snowing lately in here, and the bad thing is the heater in in my apartment seems to hate me, i guess there is something wrong with it, cause everything in my aparments works fine just the hater wont work and it left me in cold especially at night and morning >_>, luckily i still have my portable heater -> and i made a kotatsu from it =D

school is going great for me, i though at first it's gonna be hard. but after you getting used to the pace, everything seems working just fine, like i can do all my homework, test, exam, etc just fine as long you keep an eye for it and not being lazy XD, i just hope my first quarter in here will be ok without any problem.

third day of school =D, yeah i'm feeling great today cause things looking good for me. I have no problem with my math class so far, in fact I'm ahead from another people in my class, while they still in unit 1 (i did the unit 1 exam already) I'm already on the way finishing unit 2. well notreally bragging about it,but i'm pretty confident about it, i'm so happy when there are people asking me for help XD, even I made friends with them.

on the other hand, my computer class, the CIS115, they teach us how to use visual logic. I'm kinda struggling in it, but i'll do my best to keep it up. most of the people in my class i can say are techy people and already have a bunch of homework to do and it's due next week, not to mention few stuff to do in online portal and quiz XD. btw did i mention that our teacher look alike bill gates XD

well i hope this session is going to be okay =D

first day of school!!!

actually i really enjoy my class a lot, since the teacher is really nice person =D. and also its actually a low level math class (math 114) in general, and somehow most of the problem i can solve easily. if we dare, we actually can take a proficiency test if you sure you can pass with score 80% above and done with the class (love to try, but not sure if i can), but i already paid for the class and gonna waste it if i'm take the test, beside i rather start from beginning again to refreshmy memory, since it's been so long i went to school and having math lesson, so yeah my brain needs a work out.

i think that's it today, just 1 class, need to wait for tomorrow for the computer class =D

this week school starts!!!, kinda excited and the same time scared >_>. it's been 7 months since my last class in CSCC, my mind needs to work out a little after all this time =P. i'm taking a math and computer class this quarter and hope it's gonna be okay, especially math one =D. the schedule is okay, Wednesday to Friday with one class each day, and each session are about 3-4 hour long.

well i think that's it, wish me luck in my study though =D

been listening to this kind of music lately, luckily my local library carry quite a lot of them and I've been borrowing them a lot =P. well if you don't know about it, Yanni is the example and one of the popular one, with his one famous song "silk road". I just recently hearing to this kind of music, when i borrowed some random cd called windham chill, i just like it and it makes me want more and more, surprisingly when i look at the wikipedia they are actually works in this line of music.

in my words -> it's a instrumental music with a relax atmosphere in it and it makes a very good companion for me in almost anything in my opinion. bored? just turn on the songs and lay around on the bed (in the end i fall a sleep), also lullaby for sleeping as long you don't turn up the volume very high (i fell asleep when playing online games while listening to this kind of songs), also turn on this songs with the speakers and it just makes peacefull atmosphere in my room =D.

it's the first day of new year and i have nothing to do =D, the truth is that I don't really want to do anything other than relax in my apartment =D. I'll probably wasting my time watching dvd, catching up with anime and manga, browsing internet + some online game, or just laying around (maybe sleep =P). how about if iam hungry? no need to worry about that, since i took a lot of chicken wings and rice from bu joko's house, so yeah i'm set for today, unless there is someone asking out ;D

lol mau ngomong apa yah, sekarang sih gw lagi sendirian di apartemen tepatnya didepan komputer gw nulis ini =P. tadi gw baru dari rumah bu joko makan2, abis dari situ itu memang udah rencana pergi ke rumah holdy bareng sama om mody. tapi om modynya ga telpon2 udah jam 10 lewat, karena dia hari ini kerja dan selesainya jam 10, dan kitaudah janji kemarinnya.

tadinya gw udah mau pergi ke tempatnya holdy sendiri sih, tapi akhirnya niatnya ciut juga liat diluar cuacanya dingin, gelap lagi ditambah banyak polisi dijalan, mending gw pulang ke apartemen daripada gw nyasar di jalan atau ada apa2, en gw setidaknya bisa ngerayain tahun baru (jujur aja gw prefer ngerayain sendirian xD)

hari ini agak spesial karena kita ngadain sermon buat perayaan natal, meskipun natalnya sendiri masih nanti hari kamis. lumayan banyak orang yang datang, perayaannya sendiri sih gw bilang ok, cuma gw bilang "spirit of christmast"nya kurang kelihatan, jadi mirip2 sermon setiap hari minggu aja, mungkin karena natalnya sendiri masih hari kamis kali =P. and gw dapet present dari keluarganya pak yo, gelas/mug kayanya sih, karena gw sendiri belum buka -> thx a lot =D. tadi di gereja gw perhatiin anak2 yang kecil2 pada dapat hadiah, soalnya mereka pada bawa bag yang ada isinya macem2, ga tahu juga siapa yang kasih =D.

selain itu hari ini (well ga cuma hari ini sih) udara diluar asli dingin banget, belum lagi ditambah sama angin yang lumayan kencang, ini aja bisa kedengaran dari kamar gw padahal gw pasang lagu pakai speaker. tadi aja pas gw mau jemput om mody, pas di highway mobil gw kerasa banget getarannya kalau kena angin. gw sendiri sih personaly takut kalau jalan2 keluar, takut keslip aja dijalan karena black ice ( ga harus black ice sih) karena kadang2 jalan bisa deceiving, bersih sih bersih, tapi kita ga tahu juga kalau mobil kita bisa kslip kapan aja, lagian kalau ga salah baru2 aja hujan kemarin, hujan + suhu dingin = ice on the road/ black ice.

ok this is maybe weird, but actually it works for me. found this info on APTA website about pillows while i'm looking info about neckpain. i never really think that pillows can really actually affecting your sleep; how many pillows you used and the soft or hard one. i usually have at least 3 stack pillows for my head, and now i just use 1 soft one.

about sentai, i already finished magiranger and gekiranger. suprisingly they are pretty good despite it's a kid show, reminds me of my childhood =P. kamen rider series is also good, love all of them especially den-o and kiva. other worth mentioning is garo, tokusatsu with darker theme but it's really cool using cg, and it's targetted for older audience/adult.

godzilla wannabe

baru aja selesai nonton cloverfield, dvdnya pinjam dari library tadi. persis2 sama kaya godzilla 2001 yang buatan amerika cuma bedanya ini lebih fokusin ke orangnya daripada ke monsternya. filmnya unik sih dilihat dari perspektif kamera, jadi kaya nonton homemade video. monsternya ok sih tapi ga sekeren godzilla =P. in the end it's really good film if you into sci-fi genre, cuma rada pendek aja sama monsternya sendiri jarang banget ditunjukin.

tadi pas jalan pulang beli makan di canes, mobil gw keselip di jalan henderson >_>, didaerah pertokoan situ. padahal gw jalannya ga cepet sih cuma sekitar 30an, cuma kebetulan ada mobil motong dari seberang dan tiba2 langsung belok, kan otomatis gw harus ngerem dan mobil gw slip pas itu, sempet lightly bump sama pinggir jalan/trotoar sih, untung aja waktu itu jalannya rada sepi.

topik lainnya -> neck pain sama (below) chest pain. tadi pagi pas gw bangun tidur tiba2 langsung aja kena sakit dileher, ini rada normal kalau gw bilang karena neck pain memang common illness, tapi gw sendiri kaga pernah dapat sakit leher pas bangun pagi. nah pas saat bersamaan pas gw muter badan kena lagi gw, kali ini sakitnya pas dibawah dada sama diatas abdomen, awalnya sih gw pikir cuma muscle cramp/pull, abis cari2 info di internet ketemu beberapa yang menarik, ya yang paling simple ya itu muscle cramps/pull, kalau mau lebih extremenya karena livernya sensitif atau gallbladder, menarik juga kalau mau diresearch terus sih, well i just hope it's just a normal pain and nothing serious =D

sejak udah lumayan lengkap koleksi kamen ridernya dan gw butuh tontonan lain, akhirnya gw mutusin buat nonton sentai series. sekali lagi gw ga fan atau suka2 bener sama sentai, tapi berhubung gw suka nonton film (apa aja) dan butuh tontonan biar ga bosen. ga bisa komentar banyak berhubung gw belum nonton sama sekali =P (baru2 aja gw download)

gw sendiri ga bener2 fan sih sama seri satu ini, tapi bosen aja nontonin anime ama youtube melulu jadi gw pengen cari tontonan baru. thanks to tv-nihon yang udah ngesubs beberapa seri ini jadi gw bisa nonton dan ngebuat koleksi gw lumayan banyak. let's see gw udah ada dari agito (2001), ryuuki(2002), faiz(2003), blade(2004), hibiki(2005), kabuto(2006), den-o (2007), ama kiva (2008), dan dari semuanya cuma kuuga (2000) yang gw belum ada. overall it's pretty great series, berhubung gw demen aja superhero theme dan transforming heroes =D

cold!!!

it's been snowing since yesterday, too bad it's already stopped, coba lebih lama lagi turunnya kan saljunya bisa numpuk tinggi =P. btw gw baru aja dari luar bersihin mobil biar saljunya ga mengeras dan sekalian manasin mobilnya. dingin banget sih sekarang diluar padahal langitnya cerah ada matahari, setidaknya kalau mau keluar harus pakai lapis 3 bajunya, topi, sama syal. untung aja kamar gw suhunya lumayan anget banget, udah gini gw sih susah keluar dari apartemen =p

tokusatsu!

belakangan ini jadi suka nontonin tokusatsu gw =D. buat yang ga tahu apa itu tokusatsu inget kaga film2 jepang kaya ultraman, ranger series, godzilla, kamen rider, etc yang pernah lu dulu tonton di tv? nah itu tokusatsu. abis itu bisa dibilang juga live-action atau j-dorama yang temanya cenderung ke scifi, fantasy atau horror abis itu makai banyak spesial effect.

seri yang lagi gw tontonin dan koleksi duluan -> kamen rider, udah tahu sih karena dulu di indo pernah nonton kamen rider black sama black rx, tapi abis itu ya udah ga pernah nonton lagi seri2 berikutnya. karena bosen nontonin anime dan pengen cari tontonan lain akhirnya nonton juga nih kamen rider, untungnya di amrik ini tokusatsu ga ada atau jarang yang dilicense, jadi bisa gampang dicari di internet =P. fansubber yang gw ikutin tv-nihon, selain punya beberapa judul kamen rider, mereka juga ada ultraman, sentai, jdrama, sama anime.

ga, ini bukan speeding pakai mobil =p, tapi speed koneksi internet gw =D

di apartemen gw sekarang udah pasang internet, jadi seminggu ini ketagihan aja ngotak-ngatik networknya settingnya biar koneksinya maximal. gw ispnya pake road runnernya twc, kayaknya sih ini cuma satu2nya service internet didaerah gw, padahal tadinya gw mau cobain verizon fios.
sejauh ini ok2 aja belum ada masalah berarti (kurang lebih 2 minggu). btw gw milih yang turbo, jadi bandwithnya 2x lipat dari yang regular which is 15Mbps/768Kbps. kerasa banget sih kalau dipakai buat download, apalagi kalau kaya gw dimana sekali download bisa banyak dan filenya lumayan gede. selain itu gw juga bisa gunain megaupload happyhour semaximal mungkin, download speed gw average lumayan cepet bisa dapet 1.5-2Mbps kalau lagi bagus.

let's watch them all

lately i've been downloading a quite a lot of anime, mostly old series and classic one. most recent one and the one i've beenhooked is the zoids series. at first i didnt show any interest in them -> though it's just a show for kids, but when i saw a model kit of liger zero, ok why dont i try watches them and after watching them, it's surprisingly quite good, it's not that great, but somehow i must watch it since it has robot/mech shaped like animals or dinosaurs!
currently there are 4 series so far; from original zoids (chaotic century), zoids shinseiki zero (new century), zoids fuzors and zoids genesis. watched fuzors and zero and it's okay, the bad thing is the version that i downloaded is the dubbed version one, and i really hate dubbed anime.

others are classical anime, i mean the old one from the 80-90's. my target right now is collecting classic robot anime, currently still downloading god mars, gaogaigar, getter robo and mazinger and more to come. i already watched mazinkaiser, sequel to mazinger, their animation are not that great like the robot series, but somehow despite the not so good animation i still like them, classic robot with their own unique moves.

its getting colder here

suhu diluar udah mulai turun drastis jadi dingin banget, khususnya malem2 sampai pagi hari asli dingin, udah musti harus pakai baju berlapis-lapis kalau mau keluar, makanya gw males keluar kalau ga perlu2. untungnya aja di apartemen gw gasnya udah termaksud dalam biaya sewa, jadi gw bisa nyalain heater nyala terus biar hangat dalamnya. kadang2 meskipun udah nyalain heater, kamar gw suhunya tetep aja masih lebih dingin daripada ruangan diluar, jadi kalau bener2 dingin banget gw juga pakai portable heater buat bantuin hangatin kaya sekarang ini >_>

asli bosen banget gw belakangan >_>, biar di apartemen gw udah ada koneksi internet tapi lama kelamaan juga bosen jadinya. seneng sih pas pertama kali tahu ada internet, minggu awal gw pakai buat berdownload ria, tapi ya lama kelamaan senengnya ilang; ada film baru ya gw download, browsing video2 di youtube, sama baca2 berita technology, ya rutinitas gw gitu2 aja jadi ga ada yang baru. well normalnya gw sih tiap hari diapartemen aja, sebagian besar didepan komputer aja lagi seneng nyobain2 software yang gw download. terakhir gw lagi nyoba ngotak-ngatik mysgl/mssgl karena gw pengen cobain bikin server iseng2, seneng sih sih kalau programnya bisa jalan, kalau ga jalan ya gitulah jadi bt =P, oh well setidaknya ada beberapa project yang gw cobain dan bisa. sejauh ini server yang pernah gw cobain dan bisa jalan; ragnarok online (plg gampang), lineage 2, rose online, sama world of warcraft.

another rant, well kebetulan kalau gw lagi males masak dan juga gw belum belanja, malah makanin junkfood/fastfood melulu, ya kalau ga mcdonalds ya wendys berhubung lokasinya deket banget ama apartemen gw =P, bicara mcdonalds gw jadi ngiri ama ngiler sama mcdonaldsnya jepang, cobain aja youtube mcdonalds jepang, menunya mantep2 dibanding sama mcdonalds sini >_<, banyak banget yang pengen gw coba kaya teriyaki burger/ chicken fillet, basil ebi fillet-o (burger udang), buat lengkapnya cari aja di youtube, dijamin ngiler =P

weee.... it's election day today here is US. not really excited about it since i don't really care and not really interested in politics. just curios who's gonna win, just guessing obama probably win this one, let's just hope for the best =D

other than that it already November in here, well i just love this month and December, holiday seasons everybody???. there is thanksgiving this months, and at the same time black friday =D, well i hope i can get something cheap from that day. and also my church gonna have spring retreat too =D, this year we're gonna go to harrisburg, pennsylvania, around 6 hours driving with car, not really sure if i can go or not =(

beberapa hari belakangan ini, kebetulan lagi ga ada tontonan dan belum sempat pergi ke library buat cari film, akhirnya nonton juga streaming video lewat internet. kebetulan ada 2 film yang pengen banget gw tonton, the incredible hulk (2008) sama batman dark knight. udah nonton 2-2nya dan puas gw kesampaian nontonnya, juga meski kualitas videonya ga sebagus dvd, maklum streaming gratisan =P.

the incredible hulk ok-lah, yang buat gw pengen nonton itu karena desain hulknya sendiri lebih keren dari yang versi 2003 dan mereka juga munculin abomination. yang buat gw kaget itu pas filmnya udah mau habis, tiba2 tony stark (ironman) muncul buat propose bikin superhero team (the avengers).
batman dark knight juga not bad, sequel dari batman begins. still have the same dark theme, but this time better than the first film since it actually introduce joker as the main enemy. gonna see alot of explosion since joker like to use explosive to go kaboom.

selain itu gw juga download 2 pc game, selain metal fatigue sama oni kemarin, gw hari ini juga dapet praetorians dan chaos legion buat pc, rata game lama sih tapi setidaknya mereka masih bisa jalan lancar di laptop tua gw. memang lagi nyari2 aja game2 lama yang gw kangen pengen gw mainin lagi =D

just create an account on facebook and myspace today since i don't have anything to do -_-!, not really excited and dont care about it, but since most of my friends probably have one, i might as well have one too =P

disini cuacanya udah mulai dingin, pretty cold especially malem2 atau pagi hari. di apartemen udah nyalain heater sih tapi tetep aja dingin, karena kalau heaternya ga gw nyalain terus menerus takut bill listriknya mahal nanti jadi temperaturenya gw set ke 70. gw juga beli juga portable heater sih yang kecil, ga bener2 bagus tapi lumayan buat ngangetin badan bagian bawah khususnya dari kaki sampai dengkul kalau malem2, berhubung gw cuma pakai short ama tshirt kalau di apartemen =D

other than that i still enjoying my free time until next year =D

uh yeah, but at least things going better for me now =D

most of the problem are mostly done, especially my school. akhirnya proses aplikasi gw masuk DeVry jalan juga, setelah lumayan lama gw tunda2. sekarang sih masih dalam proses, cuma tinggal nungguin dokumen2 dari ortu sampai kesini. Gw sendiri bakal masuk Januari 2009, tadnya gw rencana mau coba masuk yang quarter berikut ini, which is tanggal 27 oktober, tapi mepet banget ga bakal keburu, jadinya masuk yang tahun depan aja.

other than that i'm doing fine here =D, still enjoying my holiday till next year!

amazing grace

kayanya minggu ini santai2 aja keadaan disini buat gw, but buat majority kayanya bisa dibilang rada sibuk karena minggu ini minggu pertama mereka masuk sekolah buat fall quarter. gw sendiri sih most of the time ngabisin waktu di apartemen aja tidur2an, sekali2 pergi ke library buat minjem buku atau dvd dan sekalian bisa download weekly dose of animanga stuff. gw sih sebetulnya udah rencana buat pergi ke devry, but somehow my will is not strong enough, either gw bangunnya kesiangan, nonton film sampai lupa waktu, and either ada kerjaan lain mendadak, in the end sampai sekarang belum kesampaian juga -_-'

hal lain yang lumayan menarik buat disinggung, gw baru-baru aja nonton dvd minjem dari library judulnya "Amazing Grace". cerita utamanya sendiri fokus ke abolition of slave trade di inggris sekitar abad 18, buat yang udah pernah nonton "amistad" bisa dibilang mirip2, dan film ini fokusin ke salah satu aktivisnya yaitu William Wilberforce. at the same time film ini juga jelasin asal usul lagu "amazing grace" yang udah familiar di telinga kita, surprisingly lagu ini diciptain oleh captain of british navy John Newton yang dimana waktu itu kerja di slave trade ship, buat cerita lengkapnya bisa dicek diwikipedia. ga ketinggalan gw juga mau bilang kalau lagu amazing grace versi chris tomlin buat film ini bener2 inspiring banget, worth listening!

back!!!

uhh so many things happened this months, for starter my notebook ac adapter busted, so yeah i can't use my notebook for sometime while waiting the replacement to come. bosen juga sih ga bisa ngapa2in kalau ga ada notebook (nonton, dengerin musik, gaming, internet, etc), tapi setidaknya gw masih ada dvd buat ditonton. beside i can still go to the library, but the library kinda full when we got blackout in here, so yeah sometimes you have to wait to get a computer.

also this month, here where i live (columbus) we got massive blackout because of strong wind gust. it takes 3 day for my area until the power back on (sunday through tuesday). well i kinda enjoy it at one point because everything is so dark and quiet everywhere, makes a calm and peaceful situation where there are no activities except car passing by. bad things about blackout, my car got hit again and this time in the front right, luckily the lights is still working fine and only the section behind the headlight is damaged.

btw the bazaar is done!, bisa dibilang sukses deh =D

plamo vs figures!

ga bisa cerita apa2 soalnya ga ada yang menarik buat diceritain sih >_>

well gw udah dapet kartu opt gw minggu ini, rencana gw minggu depan gw bakal ke sekolah buat ketemu sama advisor gw kalau gw udah dapet kartunya, selain itu juga mau ngurusin masalah diploma gw yang muter2 entah kemana. habis itu juga masih gw harus perpanjang driver license yang dimana minggu ini ga jadi2, dan yang terakhir gw mau cobain apply buat ssn, ga tahu juga sih kalau satu ini bener2 mutlak apa ga, setidaknya gw mau coba aja.

dan akhirnya gw udah dapet package busou shinkinya, sekarang koleksi busou shinki mms gw udah lumayan lengkap dari seri 1 sampai 9, cuma ada beberapa ex weapon set yang belum gw punya. selain itu gw juga berhasil dapetin figma mikuru asahina sekitar $22 which is a great deal dan berhubung harganya kalau di retailer bisa $27 keatas, sebetulnya gw bisa dapetin lebih murah sih kalau mau beli yang "bid" karena mulai dari $10, tapi gw males nunggunya dan mending ambil aja yang "buy it now" aja berhubung harganya ok banget. well somehow i most likely will be hook to figma line figure >_<, banyak yang gw mau sih tapi lagi nunggu dulu yang mikuru dateng, mau ngecek worthed apa ga buat dikoleksi =D

uhh well sekarang masih bingung mending koleksi gunpla/plamo (robot) atau figure/figma/mms (girls) ya o_O?

errr ga tahu kenapa tiba2 dikamar gw ada serangga, dan gw ga suka aja ama serangga x_x, awalnya sih gw lihat ada 1 di lantai dan gw buang, abis itu gw lihat lagi ke jendela dan nemu lagi satu dibawahnya, pas gw mau naikin blindfoldnya gw lihat ada item2 kecil, dan pas gw buka jendela ada 2 lagi nemplok di kacanya dan 1 lagi di blindfold. sejauh ini gw udah nemuin 4 dan 4-4nya gw flush di toilet. ga tahu masuk darimana tapi sepertinya mereka bisa masuk kekamar gw lewat sela2 jendela. ini sih baru jendela kamar gw, untungnya 2 jendela lainnya aman2 aja =D, dan buat mencegah supaya mereka ga bisa masuk lagi pinggir2/sela2 jendelanya gw pakein ducktape. sejauh post ini gw belum liat lagi sih, jadi sering lihatin jendela tiap beberapa menit buat mastiin ga ada lagi, en semoga aja ntar malam pas gw tidur ga ada yang masuk lagi =D

selain itu gw dapet busou shinki asuka gw hari ini =D. udah dapet dari kemarin sih tapi kunci yang buat buka box mail ga bisa kebuka, jadi hari ini gw pergi ke kantornya post office buat bilang mereka. dikantornya sendiri orang yang ngurusin kaya ginian/carriernya udah ga ada, untung aja orang yang ngelayanin gw baik. gw rasa dia sendiri bukan carrier melainkan kerja di kantornya itu, dan pas ditanya alamat gw dan gw bilang dekat, dia bersedia mau bukain boxnya. di mailbox apartemen gw dia coba bukain box dan masih bisa ga kebuka, abis itu juga cobain box2 disebelahnya dan masih ga bisa buka juga. akhirnya dia buka pakai master keynya, colok ke lubang kunci outgoing mail dan hola kebuka semua mailboxnya, dan dia kasih gw boxnya. dan gw juga expect shipment busou shinki (multimeier, lancia dan espadia) gw bakal dateng besok kalau ga ada halangan =D

i ate (gudeg) a lot!

baru selesai mandi nih, enak mandi malem2 =P. gw sendiri ini baru aja bangun, karena tadi pas pulang dari catering, gw tidur2an karena capek eh ujung-ujungnya malah ketiduran. buat catering kali ini bisa dibilang less work than previous one, makanya kita bisa selesai cepat sekitar jam 4-an tadi sambil jadi nungguin makanannya diambil aja. abis itu ya kita-kita pretty much nyantai aja dirumahnya pastor sambil beres2/bersih2.

bingung mau ngisi apa lagi, pikiran gw lagi blank sekarang, pengen tidur aja jadinya >_>

Just got home from and man i smell nasty XD (mostly chicken ifnot my body =P)

Gw hari ini bantuin buat catering yang hari-h besok. Banyak banget yang dikerjain mulai dari bikin meatball, bumbuin ayam, buat gudeg, makan, minum, tidur, wc, nonton, ngerumpi, nyantai/ngaso, bersih2?, dan banyak lagi yang ga bisa gw sebutin =P. Gw udah disana dari jam 12-an dan pulang kira2 jam 10.30 malamnya. Capek juga sih, but perasaan gw seneng aja =D, dan juga kita ngerjainnya bareng2 ko ga cuma gw aja biar personel utamanya ya itu2 aja; andre, budiman, bu joko, bu yuli, sama gw. and we manage to finish the thing that we need to do!, job well done =D

btw buat acara bbq hari senin, berhubung hari senin badan gw udah "shut off" mode, jadi ga sempet ngisi gw padahal udah niat tuh. acaranya sendiri ok banget, lokasinya mantep (pinggir sungai), orangnya rame en makanannya juga enak=D. sayang matahari teriknya amit2, since i hate getting hit by sun, gw cuma duduk2 didalam gazebo, jarang keluar2, paling2 cuma mondar-mandir sana sini buat makan aja. Bisa dibilag cukup sukses dan kita bakal ngadain lagi sekitar tanggal 13 september ini =D

btw back to me, gw sendiri belum mandi sih, tanggung ngisi ini dulu soalnya kalau abis mandi bawaan-nya pasti langsung mau tidur. somehow i just feel happy today by just helping other people and somehow what another things hits the spot after that, and you know what?....I got my opt/aed card today!!! wohooo!!!!, somehow my tiredness just went away with that. It just made the day =D.

few good things happen to me lately =D, tapi yang paling penting menurut gw -> adik gw baru aja graduate dari d3-nya di atmajaya (hehe bekas uni gw dulu di indo), i know its not mine, but somehow i just feel happy hearing that. selain itu juga lega juga denger klo "trip" cc gw ke papua ok2 aja, en dengernya sih dia udah balik minggu ini. en last thing, proses aplikasi opt/ead udah diapprove =D, udah dapet email dari mereka tinggal nungguin kartunya aja dibuat kira2 1 bulanan.

well bisa dibilang dari sini gw bakal mulai jalan lagi aktivitasnya (mostly sekolah lagi), yang utama ya balik sekolah lagi en dapetin i-20 dulu, awalnya sih gw rencana mau coba cari pengalaman kerja sebentar, tapi ujung2nya jadi ga yakin juga sih mau coba cari kerja dulu apa ga. abis itu yang kritikal gw harus perpanjang driver license gw, dimana udah expire sejak gw graduate 3 bulan lalu. other than that there are small stuff i need to take care off, well i hope everything gonna be okay and smooth without much problems.

mmm apalagi ya, kayanya sih itu yang penting sih, paling gw ga sabaran aja nungguin hari minggu nih (rawnya code geass r2 biasanya keluar hari minggu, 4 more episodes to go =P)

another month pass by

ga kerasa udah mau bulan september, kayanya belum lama sejak gw graduate tapi nyatanya udah 3 bulan lewat. well i'm pretty much still doing nothing right now, just enjoying the day of freedom before back to school again. gw sih rencananya paling cepat bulan depan kalau ga ada halangan mau balik sekolah lagi, doain supaya lancar aja karena gw berharap kalau ga akhir bulan ini atau awal bulan depan gw udah dapat ead card gw. abis itu kalau memungkinkan gw pengen dapetin ssn sebelum masuk sekolah lagi.

yah kerjaan gw sehari2 paling gitu2 aja, kalau ga ke library paling gw sih diapartemen aja. tapi ada aja sih kegiatan tiap minggunya kalau mau dilakuin. kaya minggu lalu gw sibuk bantuin catering buat fund raising gereja. kerjaan gw sih pas hari h-nya kerjaan utama gw masakin ayam goreng, kadang2 bantuin buat nasi kuning sama packing ke boxnya. hari sebelumnya kita sendiri udah siap2in makanannya, jadi pas hari h-nya cuma tinggal masak dan packing. capek juga sih pas selesai hari itu, but somehow i feel happy by just doing that =D

for other stuff mmm... well i still watched anime though, though lately i just became a collector, download but didn't watch it =P. the same thing for manga, tapi kalau judul tertentu yang menarik atau bagus pasti gw tonton/baca. ga banyak judul yang bagus sih bulan2 belakangan, yang must see buat gw sih paling code geass r2, en lagi nungguin gundam oo 2nd season nanti bulan oktober pas geass abis XD.

kayanya segitu dulu, masih ada yang mau gw omongin sih tapi next post aja deh =D

still waiting

2 months after i graduated and 1 month in the new apartments =D

so far so good sih, masalah sih ada aja keluar masuk, bahkan ada yang belum keurus2 sampai sekarang gara2 keasikan libur. gw sekarang sih bisa dibilang nga ngapa2in sekarang, bisa dibilang menikmati hari2 bebas deh selagi nungguin opt/ead cardnya keluar aja (yang mudah2an akhir bulan ini udah ada) jadi gw bisa balik on track. which is rencana balik ke sekolah lagi, maklum gw baru pegang associate degree =P

well kerjaan gw sih sehari2 dirumah paling tidur2an aja, kalau ga ngapa2in paling bersih2 rumah. selain itu belakangan ini udah mulai coba2 masak sendiri, karena pas pertama gw pindah ke apt baru gw sering banget makan diluar saking males ngotor2in dapur atau masak. itung2 save money juga sih, kadang2 suka beli frozen food buat gantiin kalau males beli makan atau masak sendiri. abis itu juga lumayan sering ke library, minjem dvd ama buat internet. ini aja kebetulan ada wireless acess yang open jadi gw bisa akses internet, ga selalu ada sih dan biarpun ada signalnya pasti lemah, tapi bisalah buat cek email sama light browsing. pengen sih pasang cable internet, tapi tunggu dulu deh gw belum sreg aja XD

kayanya sih gitu aja deh,mau cerita banyak sih tapi ga sekarang deh =D

I'm still here!

ga kerasa udah hampir 1 bulan sejak gw graduate, en 2 bulan dimana gw tinggal sendiri. gw sih sekarang hanya lagi nungguin EAD-nya keluar, jadi bisa dibilang lagi libur dah =P
btw gw udah pindah ke tempat baru, en so far so good. lokasinya sendiri ga jauh dari tempat yang lama dan lumayan strategis juga dekat kemana2.
abis itu untungnya di apartemen baru gw ada koneksi wireless yang open, biarpun ga kenceng2 banget setidaknya bisa buat browsing, since i'm planning getting my own connection!

gw baru sadar kalau hari ini hari jumat dan tanggal 13 pula 0_O?

anyway tadi gw barusan graduate =)
akhirnya selesai juga, setelah 4 tahun struggle kuliah naik turun akhirnya survive juga, well there are good and bad times on those period, and now here i am graduate at last!

thank you banget yang udah support gw selama 4 tahun ini, terutama orang tua dan cc gw (dah balik dia), not to mention orang2 di IFGF juga ( budiman yang udah bantuin gw buat video speechnya =P, thx bud). meski ortu gw ga bisa dateng, thanx banget buat yang dateng tadi, Bu Yuli, Yoni, Andre sama Brix =D

sekali lagi yay for no more class =P (at least for now)

Counting the days!!!

wohoo today is my last day in campus and we pretty much doing nothing in class, just sitting around talking to each other =D. usually this week should be final week and normally we have a final exam whatsoever, but lol somehow we don't have any exam, we just had a simple essays about "rate your classmates"

and at last, it's next week!!!

2 more weeks!!!

call me lazy or whatever, 2 bulan belakangan ini memang banyak yang gw kerjain ujung-ujungnya jadi rada males ngisi blognya. and btw i am going to graduate next month, doain aja semoga bisa lulus tanpa masalah =D

back to campus
